NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR DRAINAGE MAINTENANCE AND

IMPROVEMENTS

TOWN OF CICERO

ONONDAGA COUNTY, NEW YORK

Sealed bids for the construction of the Drainage Maintenance and Improvements will be received at the office of the Town Clerk, Town of Cicero, 8236 Brewerton Road, Cicero, New York, 13039, until 10:00 A.M., Local Time, January 22, 2026 and there at said office at said time publicly opened and read aloud.

               This project includes repair and maintenance work as may be required of drainage facilities generally consisting of rear yard swales, channels, stormwater management areas and related appurtenances within the Town of Cicero, Onondaga County, New York.  The contract period for this work shall begin upon execution of this contract and continue through December 31, 2026 and thereafter on a yearly basis for up to four (4) additional years unless terminated by either party thirty (30) days after notifying the other party in writing.

               The Owner is exempt from the payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties on all mate­rials, equipment and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to this Con­tract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the Contrac­tor and his Subcontractors of materials, equipment and supplies to be sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract, including tangible person­al proper­ty to be incorporated in any structure, building or other real property forming part of the Project.  These taxes are not to be in­cluded in the Bid.

               New York State Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this contract.

               Each submitted Bid shall consist of the Bidding and Contract Requirements (pages B-1 through B-7) and must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form of a Bid Bond, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids.
