The purpose the meeting is to provide interested parties with an opportunity to review and comment on the projects. The enclosed brochure shows the project location, and a brief description of the scope of each project. The Department is specifically soliciting comments on the proposed alternatives and the project’s social, economic, and environmental effects. These meetings are part of the continuing efforts of the New York State Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration to encourage public input in the development of transportation projects. All interested parties will be given the opportunity to express their views concerning the project.
These projects are being developed by the New York State Department of Transportation, Central NY Office in Syracuse. Various preliminary design alternatives have been developed for consideration. The meeting will consist of a 40-minute presentation of the projects, followed by a question and answer session. Written comments will also be accepted via the enclosed comment form.
