Traffic Tickets
PLEASE NOTE:
ALL TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS ARE HANDLED BY MAIL ONLY.
MISDEMEANOR traffic tickets REQUIRE a personal appearance.
You may enter a plea of GUILTY or NOT GUILTY on your original ticket and mail, fax or email the ticket to the Court. You will then be notified by the Court of the procedure you need to follow depending on your plea.

Payments
Accepted Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 3:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 11:30am.
Acceptable forms of payment: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, certified check or money order. Please make
certified checks or money orders payable to CICERO TOWN COURT. Personal checks are NOT accepted. If paying with a credit card, payment can be made in person, by mail, email or fax only. NO OVER-THE-PHONE payments are accepted. A service fee of 2.99% of the payment amount will be assessed on all credit or debit card transactions. For payment plans go to: www.nycourts.gov/LAW/vtl.

- DWI Calendar: Fourth Tuesday at 3:00 pm (unless there is a Holiday)
- Small Claims: 4:00 pm
- Evictions are scheduled on the 1st and 4th Tuesday ONLY at 4:00 pm. (Tenant last name starting A-L)

Small Claims Court
Where do I file for small claims?
Small Claims can be filed with the Court Clerk. The party you are filing against must live, work or have a place of business in the Town of Cicero. They must receive their mail in the Town of Cicero. You must have the exact mailing address. Post office boxes are not acceptable. The allowable maximum amount to claim is $3000.00. For claims up to $1000.00, the filing fee is $10.00. For claims over $1000.00 the filing fee is $15.00. You must contact the court for Small Claims paperwork.
