PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Cicero Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November 16, 2020 commencing at 6:30 p.m. virtually at the Cicero Town Hall 8236 Brewerton Rd., Cicero, NY 13039 to consider the adoption of a Local Law pursuant to Section 487 of the Real Property Tax Law (RPTL) to “opt out” of allowing real property tax exemptions pursuant to Section 487 of the PRTL and declare improvements related to solar and wind energy systems fully taxable in the Town of Cicero.
Note: Please Take Notice that the Town of Cicero, in response to the continuing emergency circumstances caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and consistent with the NYS Governor’s Executive Orders, including but not limited to, Executive Order 202.1, shall conduct a Regular Town Board Meeting on Monday, November 16, 2020 commencing at 6:30 pm virtually. The public shall not be allowed to attend the meeting in person as a result of precautionary measures adopted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Further, the public is encouraged to offer its comments in writing to the town by email communications to the town supervisor at bmeyer@ciceronewyork.net no later than November 13, 2020 at 3:00 pm. All comments will be entered into the record and distributed to all board members. Fax communications will also be accepted and may be sent to (315) 699-00390.
