TOWN OF CICERO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF CICERO FOR THE YEAR OF 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Cicero for the fiscal year beginning 2025 has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Cicero, 8236 Brewerton Road, Cicero, New York 13039, where it is available for inspection by any interested person between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. It also may be viewed on the Town’s website at www.ciceronewyork.net.
The Town Board of the Town of Cicero shall hold a public hearing on said Preliminary Budget on November 13, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Cicero Town Hall, 8236 Brewerton Road, Cicero, New York showing such changes, alterations, and revisions as shall have been made therein by the Town Board of the Town of Cicero. At such hearing, any person may be heard in regard to any item or items therein contained.
FURTHER NOTICE is given that pursuant to Real Property Tax Law Section 495, the Exemption report that shows total assessed value on the final assessment roll that was used in the budgetary process that is exempt from taxation is on file with the 2025 Preliminary Budget.
The following are the proposed 2025 salaries of certain Town Officers of the Town of Cicero:
- Supervisor $65,835.00/yr.
- Town Board Councilors (4) $11,552.00 /yr. each
- Town Clerk $71,400.00/yr.
- Receiver of Taxes $65,589.00/yr.
- Highway Superintendent $92,700.00/yr.
