PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Cicero Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., local time at 8236 Brewerton Road to consider a Local Law of 2023 increasing the maximum income eligibility limits relative to partial exemption for residents aged 65 and over, according to the matrix below, and adding the requirement that the term “income” shall include distributions received from an individual retirement account or individual retirement annuity that were included in the applicant’s federal adjusted gross income, at which time and place all persons will be heard either for or against the granting of the request stated in said notice. The proposed Local Law and corresponding income eligibility increase is authorized by the State pursuant to Real Property Tax Law Section 467, as amended by Chapter 488 of the Laws of 2022.
