2023 Town and County Tax Notice
The undersigned Receiver of Taxes and Assessments for the Town of Cicero, New York, having received
the tax roll and warrant for the 2023 Town and County Taxes, will receive taxes at the Tax Office, Cicero
Town Hall, 8236 Brewerton Road, Cicero, New York 13039 from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through
Friday during the month of January. January 27, January 30 and January 31 taxes will be received from
7:30am to 6:00pm. February and March hours will be 8:00am to 4:00pm, excepting closure for legal
holidays.
Taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2023, without charge or penalty. Taxes with Senior Citizen
exemptions will be due by February 7, 2023. On all such taxes remaining unpaid after January 31, 2023
one per centum (1%) will be added thru February 28, 2023 and one and one-half per centum (1 ½%) will
be added March 1, 2023 thru March 31, 2023.
If taxes are unpaid as of March 16, 2023 and a second notice of taxes due is processed, an additional
charge of one dollar ($1.00) will be levied and will become a part of the amount due.
Return of unpaid taxes is made by the Receiver of Taxes to the Commissioner of Finance on April 1,
2023.
