Public Hearing – to consider an extension of Solar Moratorium

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Cicero Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday October 13, at 6:30p.m. at 8236 Brewerton Rd. at 8236 Brewerton Rd., to consider a six (6) month extension to LOCAL LAW NO. 11 (2020). The purpose of said law is to provide an extension of the temporary moratorium against the consideration of any and all applications for solar utility substations, building permits, and other development for as yet unpermitted commercial solar energy related requests to allow time for the Town Board to further investigate and study issues related to the development of the Town’s commercial solar policy.

Facial coverings are strongly recommended by all who enter any Town of Cicero building and will be asked to practice social distancing. If you do not have one at the time of entering a building, we will provide you with a mask.
