NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
Cicero Senior Center Building & Site Renovations
TOWN OF CICERO ONONDAGA COUNTY, NEW YORK
Sealed bids for the improvements to the Cicero Senior Center and Site Renovations will be received at the office of the Town Clerk, Town of Cicero, 8236 Brewerton Road, Cicero, New York 13039, until 10:00am Local Time, April 20, 2021 and there at said office at said time publicly opened and read aloud. Project includes interior and exterior work to enhance ADA accessibility and update facility. Work includes installing concrete walkways, door railing, ADA compliant door & activator post, flooring, kitchen cabinets, and widening service drive. The project is funded by a grant from the Onondaga County Community Development Division. Approximately 75% of costs will be financed with Federal money. Bidders will be required to commit themselves to a goal for minority and women business participation in the Contract. Beginning Monday, March 29, 2021 copies of the above described Bid Documents are available for viewing and searching at no cost at www.planandprint.com. Click on PlanWell Public Planroom Bar, then click on Public Plan Room. Bidders must be official plan holders and are responsible for their own downloading and printing fees. There will be a Pre-Bid meeting for any interested parties on April 12, 2021 at 1:30pm at the Senior Center, 5924 Lathrop Drive, Cicero, NY. The contract period for this work shall be May 3 – August 31, 2021. The Owner, Contractor and his Subcontractors are exempt from the payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties on all materials, equipment and supplies sold pursuant to this Contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cash, certified check, or cashier’s check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this contract. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
