Nicole M Walsh, the Receiver of Taxes for the Town of Cicero, New York, having received the 2019-2020 school tax roll and warrants for North Syracuse Central School, Central Square Central School, East Syracuse – Minoa Central School and the Chittenango Central School Districts in the Town of Cicero, will receive taxes at the tax office, Cicero Town Hall, 8236 Brewerton Road, Cicero, New York 13039 from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday from September 4th, 2019 until October 3rd, 2019. Extended hours are Tuesday October 1st through Thursday October 3rd from 7:30AM until 6:00PM.
If you are making a partial payment, it may be ANY portion of the bill and before the penalty fee date of October 3rd. Initial partial payments after that date cannot be accepted by law.
Taxes will be collected from October 4th, 2019 to October 31st, 2019 with a two percent penalty. Hours of collection will be from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, excepting holidays.
Senior citizens with the “senior citizen exemption” have a five business day extension or until October 10th, 2019. Return of unpaid taxes is made by the Receiver to the Onondaga County Chief Fiscal Officer, pursuant to law, November 1, 2019.
