This department is more commonly known as the Assessor’s Office, and is responsible for placing value on all parcels within the town. The Town of Cicero contains properties such as: vacant, residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial parcels. The Assessor’s Office also processes all exemptions, reviews and analyzes sales data, manages the equalization rate, and helps in defending the town in all assessment related court cases.
