The Town of Cicero has an opening for a Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) ad hoc position. Please spread the word to people within the Town that you know. Incumbent must be a Town of Cicero resident.
The incumbent will fill in when a ZBA member is absent; approximately one night a month. When a permanent position opens up, we always first look at our ad hoc staff, and give them preference when hiring. Hiring could be for a full term (which is 5 years), or a partial term.
We will train the right person. The right person will be highly ethical; dependable; and have a sincere interest in the Town and the well-being of our residents.

The undersigned, Supervisor of the Town of Cicero, does hereby call a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cicero, to be held at the Cicero Town Hall, 8236 Brewerton Road, Cicero, NY, commencing on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m., regarding the status report on the Town Highway Garage. The meeting may include any other business that comes before the board.

A public hearing, which is required by the UDC (Urban Development Corporation) Act, will be held by the Corporation at the Cicero Town Hall, located at 8236 South Main Street, Cicero, New York on February 14, 2017, at 9:30 am to consider a plan to do research and development within the Town of Cicero for the Unmanned Secure Autonomous Flight Environment (U-SAFE) Capital Project in Onondaga County. This would entail development of hi-tech drones for an emerging market and would have positive benefits for our Town of Cicero.
This is potentially a great project for Cicero. I invite everyone to attend this hearing to learn about an exciting opportunity for hi tech job creation in our Town. It’s also an opportunity to ask questions and to express your opinions. .

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Cicero Town Board will hold a Public Hearing for February 8, 2017 commencing at 6:30 p.m. at the Cicero Town Hall 8236 Brewerton Rd., Cicero, NY 13039 to consider proposed zone changes to Lakeshore Road from Route 31 (Meadows Ice Cream) intersection, extending to Cicero Center Road. The purpose of this public hearing is to consider zone changes that affect various properties along the Lakeshore Road location. Zone changes are being considered to eliminate existing split zoning on some properties and to provide new zoning classifications for properties that are considered non-compliant to the current Town Zoning code.
